We are adopting a new rule all must follow, and that involves the prohibition of using unapproved file and video sharing hosts.

There have been a number of posts wherein an unrecognized and/or obscure file sharing host is used to either share photos or videos. Often times, when the reader clicks on the link, they are redirected to malicious sites and/or worse, freezing the browser as it tries to alter the browsers script code. What makes this worse is that these sites are clever - they often make the original poster immune from the virus attacks thereby keeping them unaware of their malicious postings. Alternatively, many use certain sites that are "cash-for-clicks", meaning they earn money as an "affiliate" to redirect people to other sites (typically porn). Our goal with this new rule is to prevent our members from experiencing browsers crashing, spam, unwanted malware, or, simply unappreciated redirects to porn or cam sites. So we are herewith banning posts with unapproved file hosting sites.

There are a plethora of legitimate hosting sites that are known to be safe and free of malware or malicious agendas to redirect the reader. These are all easy to use, well known and free for both the uploader and downloader. Only the sites listed below should be used in any of the forums for the CFNM Village:

LIST OF APPROVED PHOTO FILE & VIDEO SHARING HOSTS

Photo/GIF Sharing Sites:

Photos embedded in any news site or website used extensively where no anonymous uploading was used, and/or does not have pop-ups or redirects.

Added Notes:

  • 1. Until we approve a file sharing or video hosting site, it is deemed to be a banned site. We recognize there may be other legitimate free hosts not approved above. We have no financial stake in using any of the above sites, and want to include a variety for our members to rely upon. If for whatever reason feel another site should be added (and please provide justification as opposed to just listing it and wanting it added), let us know and we'll confirm it is safe and add it to the above list.
  • 2. The above list will change as new hosts are added. NOTE - some sites which may originally be safe may switch to the dark side and become malicious. It is incumbent on each member to continuously monitor this thread to avoid posting malicious links.
  • 3. Most video or photo sharing hosts, including a number above commonly used, have pop-up screens wanting the downloader to either install an .exe program for "better" downloading, or, wanting money for some kind of subscription or ad. We must recognize nothing is free, and this is how they make money allowing folks to upload and download content without paying anything. It is incumbent upon each of you to use common sense when using the Internet and be wary of clicking on any links that may redirect your, or worse, have you open an .exe file. Don't do it! If a pop-up prevents you from downloading or viewing the uploaded content, first try to refresh your browser window, or, close the offending redirect window, and that usually gets rid of it. If these don't work, go back to the original post and again click on the link as many of these pop-ups are random. If, however, the problem becomes consistent with everyone using the host, please post a note here or PM to me or one of the moderators, and upon verification, we will remove the host from our Approved List.
  • 4. This rule only applies to the host, not the uploaded content. Content is regulated and restricted to our Terms of Agreement ("TOA") and Rules. Upon becoming a member, you agreed to familiarize yourself with our TOA and Rules, and, agreed to abide by them. This new Rule does not change that, but instead augments the Rules.

There is a video related to male stripping I think people would find interesting, a nearly full -length documentary about the Dreamboys. It is on Pornhub. Would it be acceptable to post a link?

We don't have any experience with Pornhub. But here's what we ban - sites wherein if you click on the video to watch it, your browser gets hijacked with other web pages popping up, or, you get messages from your antivirus the page is unsafe and known to be malicious. One easy detection if you have, say, Firefox as your browser and it freezes up, then it's a banned site.

Does Pornhub have those issues?

Hi Brad, nice to chat with you. I've been visiting earlier versions of this board since 2002. Pornhub is very similar to xhamster. There are ads on one side of the page but you are not redirected to other websites when you click on a video nor do other pages pop up.

Welcome back!

Go ahead and post, and if there's a problem, we'll make it a banned site at that time.

Another proactive measure would involve members checking out the nonapproved sites prior to posting to them here.

One way to do that would be checking a number of "website monitoring" sites, which have been assembled here, showing a search for xhamster.com :

Code:
https://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/xhamster.com

Code:
https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/xhamster.com

Code:
http://www.wmtips.com/tools/info/?url=xhamster.com

Code:
https://www.google.com/transparencyreport/safebrowsing/diagnostic/index.html#url=xhamster.com

Code:
http://www.urlvoid.com/scan/xhamster.com

NoScript, a browser addon also has a beta tested suite of website checkers available here :

Code:
https://noscript.net/about/xhamster.com;xhamster.com

described below.
Quote:
This service is experimental and far from being complete yet.

You can customize it by opening about:config and editing the noscript.siteInfoProvider entry, which points to this very page by default.

Currently it provides links to other resources helping to assess the security and privacy trustworthiness of xhamster.com.

WOT Scorecard about xhamster.com
virustotal xhamster.com URL submission
McAfee SiteAdvisor® rating for xhamster.com
Webmaster Tips Site Information about xhamster.com
Safe Browsing Diagnostic on xhamster.com
hpHost Report on xhamster.com
URLVoid Scan on xhamster.com

We hope to keep adding new tools and features over the time, making trust-based decisions easier for NoScript users.

To use these sites you must replace xhamster.com with the EXACT url of the site you wish to check, using the EXACT syntax listed above in each example.

A final note : Members PLEASE let Mods know ASAP if you encounter a problem with any sites accessed through the Village forum.
Some of us (me ! ) run heavily protected browsers and may NOT get a click through, popunder or redirect which other members experience. For obvious reasons if we have issues with sites, Brad will make the call to eliminate them permanently from our approved list.

Do images hosted on tumblr and posted via /img coding the direct image link live up to these criteria?

As far as I've seen, yes, tumblr is relatively safe. I've added it to the safe file sharing sites. Please note that any "safe" site is subject to change once they begin allowing malicious redirects (ergo, imbox/bam was once okay, now it's banned).

Insider could you please either post some thoughts on how to create a "heavily protected browser" or post a link where such info could be found?

my recipe so far is

current version of Firefox running on current version of Mac OSX

addons:
Adblock Plus with Pop-up Add-on
BetterPrivacy
Ghostery
NoScript security suite
Enforce Encryption
( I used to use WOT but Firefox is not supporting it now )

I run under VPNs and proxies and if they don't allow a site, I don't go there
I allow Firefox to block and disable any add-on, site or script as per its defaults and my own strict preference rules
and have things configured to basically shut down all non-essential info/connections.
I also run a firewall in stealth mode.
I clean/clear all browser settings and online storage debris / offline caches etc. when I shut down Firefox

I research sites with the suite of beta tests noted in the post above.
I use malware scans and keep multiple redundant backups OFFLINE

So far = SO GOOD !

BUT also remember that tumblr uses sibling sites with different urls to host images
and some of these may allow material which we would not.

We recently pulled a whole picture topic where all the linked images were clearly watermarked with cfnm.net which is itself not allowed here for copyright reasons.
So members just need to read the rules and use common sense !

Couple of quick comments here :

1. photobucket ( not used much by the purveyors of pix here ) has adopted a "no third party hosting for free accoounts " stance which has pissed off legions of users. I'm concerned others may follow suit, and while our better used hosting sites appear to be OK, if anyone starts having issues, maybe let the forum members know so we can be pre-armed with other options !

2. Have seen a number of link listings which require a specific login (age related, account related) or country designation access requirements.

As a courtesy to other members I would suggest that members make a quick note if any logins / access / country requirements are required for other members to view the posted links. I know it is not always possible, but where you do know, please let others know in advance. Most proxies and VPNs allow country access choices or changes.

just some random comments as I cruise todays post list

Thanks for first asking jamesr10. There are constantly new image hosting sites coming online, and we like to find alternatives. The ones that are banned have been known to redirect browsers to unwanted sites or will maliciously attack one's browser and hold it hostage for payment to release (which, btw is resolved by hitting ctrl-alt-delete then closing the browser - but losing anything in the meantime).

You have my permission to post using the site you're asking about. If it works and there's no malicious attacks or redirects, we'll add it to the approved list.

Hi Brad,
since tumblr retreated from hosting "porn" there have been risen some potential successors.
I'm using currently https://newtumbl.com

As I don't wanna get banned I'm asking in advance it could be permitted to post links or a link to my blog?

Similar to what Brad said above to a similar request. You are prepared to vouch for the integrity of the site, so give it a go. Post a couple of images. The other mods andI will check them out as we do in the course of our duties. If all is well it may get added to the approved list. Thanks for doing the right thing and asking first.

- I would humbly suggest to allow links to very common sites like DeviantArt or very common adult sites like Pornhub or Xvideos. Rationale: It is unlikely that such sites contain malware. Or at least it is not more likely than with many other sites that most people go to, I think.

- Qustion: Are "inactive" links allowed as long as the site they are directed to seems to be acceptable by this forum's rules and standards?

Example of an "active" link:
http://www.cfnmvillage.com/

Examples of "inactive" links:
cfnmvillage[.]com
cfnmvillage[dot]com
