Hmmmmmmm

I noticed today that xhamster had removed the 'download' option from its vids. At first I guessed it was 'some' but turns out to be all of them. I 'googled' it to see pornhub has done the same. What a bummer for collecting good amateur content for CFNM. I can't seem to see why this has been done?

Direct downloads have always been challenging for me. Oftentimes, they want you to purchase a membership to download video content that they don't even own.

There are a couple of work-arounds. One is to use "download helper", a free app for Mozilla Firefox. There's a conversion app with it that you can buy. Another is to use one of the video screen capture software programs like Snagit.

I'd heard it had something to do with revenge porn. People would upload stuff and even if it was deleted so many copies would exist that the deletion didn't matter.

There are usually various browser plugins but some stop working. Some have issues relating to privacy or worse.

I have commented earlier about this issue with other Mods here.

Pornhub and others have indeed been "censured" because of illegal throughput via their primary feeds and sibling sites.
The allegations include incest, rape, underage porn etc. etc. etc.

it IS a significant caution to those hosting links to those sites.

I have stated my opinion and others are advised to act accordingly or
incur the consequences.

The caution is a good one for all members. The rules of this forum have been crafted as best as possible to avoid any such content regardless of which porn site is the host of the materials. I've had discussions with moderators about banning such sites, but that becomes a slippery slope and management headache as virtually all porn-hosting sites have a slimy element to them.

For those that post content in violation of our rules, they are subject to being banned from this site, particularly if they are in the genres as described by Insider.

websites offer different sibling sites to post varieties of information and to "exist" in different countries where different rules of law exist.

Web hosts also have login verification protocols which may allow one country's IPs access but block others.

Web proxies and VPNs are used to bypass restrictions and virtually "appear" to be from somewhere you are not !

if u dont want to create an account on every site maybe an extension to download videos is teh way to go

My personal experience with this is that in some instances, the download helper will do the trick, but notin others. However, you can often get the video URL, and sometimes you can go on from there with the help of a download manager and perform the download. In other cases,at least one of several third party websites* may help.

(Serch for 'download videos from XY' where XY is the domain.)

Generally speaking, you can download videos from many site with the help of some specialised sites like 9xbuddy.org. I think it works with Xhamster, too. Of course it's on you to make sure that everything you do in this respect is appropriate, legal and so on. I personally had no negative experiences (malware or so) to this point, but I cannot give you any guarantee.
